a cross between v.erubescens and v.henryi. The first parent V. Erubescens gives it rich purple red leathery leaves in autumn, and V. Henryi ;sweetly scented rose-pink flowers in spring. We introduced this variety to Australia and it will gain popularity with more exposure. Red berries follow flowering.
